Secret Locations
The secret balcony all of you have been trying to figure out I know of how to get to. Take the road with the train-car to the 2nd floor, and if you can, destroy the train so it does not inflict damage on you. Once at the second floor, turn towards the portal and take the road left of it to a ramp. Depending on your vehicle, you may have to turbo, or even jump (up, up, left) over the the glass window. You"ll break through it to find a health pickup and a weapon. There will be a cracked wall at the back-left of the room to destroy. Once you have, drive onto the balcony (it is not the secret one) and wait for the airplane thing to pick you up. Be careful though, because the CPUs will come after you. When the airplane thing picks you up, it will take you to the said secret balcony. There"s a window to crash through, a power missile pickup, rain pickup, lightning, and a homing missile. There is a platform to you"re right that shoots you back to the second floor, and along the way, you"ll pick up a full health pickup. This balcony is a great place to get revenge on the CPUs, but if you are in tournament and are facing Moon Buggy, he"ll use his special to throw you off.

Here there are about 3 secrets... And one that I like and I bet you will too... The first that I have in mind is that there are about 2 or 3 cereal boxes/gasoline cans (I can"t tell which they are) that you can blow up to discover tunnels. One of them leads under the bed, the others lead into the closet where you blow up a radio player to get under the bed too. Another secret is behind the huge trunk/toy box. There are a few pickups and a health pickup to find. The last one (besides the one I like) has to do with the lamp on the side table. Shoot at it with anything that happens to pivot up like a autolob or mortar bomb. Underneath it is a lightning pickup. Now for my favorite secret: If you got onto the sidetable from the dresser with the TV on it, turn to your right to see a poster with a half-naked woman in front of a heart. Of course with the low PS1 graphics, you can"t see much of anything... Oh well...

Okay, for Junkyard, there are 2 secrets that I know of... At one of the 4 different areas, 2 of them have tunnels to get into. One can be reached by going to the area with the buildings. Enter the area and go to the far left with 2 different ramps & take the right one. Turbo the ramp and go across the first bridge-like structure and turbo the next ramp. You should see a portal to go through which will lead you to a moving road (can"t remember what they"re called...) Go on it to discover a full health pickup. Once off the moving road, turn left to find a square-like structure sticking out. Shoot it with whatever to blow it up. Go inside to find a little hideout with lots of good pickups. There will be a ramp that leads to a door to the outside. Even if you are in there, depending on your difficulty the CPUs will find you.

There are two secrets here as well. The first can be found at the point where there is an accelerator-arrow-thing that shoots you down an decline... You should land near a building with a concrete fencing, and a glass window. turn right after the decline to find an incline. Turn just after you get to level ground and shoot at the glass. If you turbo (depending on your chosen vehicle) you should be able to jump through... Or just shoot through the concrete... The second secret took me a while to figure out... After the tunnel (If you follow the accelerator thing) you will find a towering wall just to the right of it. Shoot it down with whatever you can and enter to find lots of pickup goodies. There is lightning and a back entrance.

Amazonia 3000 B.C.
The secret that one of you happened to discover in the maze with snow-covered ground is actually quite difficult to figure out... Find the pyramid-ish figure with the health pickup hovering over it and turn towards the ramp. Instead of going on the ramp, turn to the right to fall down to the maze. Down there, follow the wall from the panel that shoots you back up from it to the left. Shoot a power missile, fire missile, or even homing missile (If there are no enemies near you) at the wall not too far off from the left of the panel. Sooner or later, you will discover a decline leading to a room with a green-covered ground and a portal. That green-covered ground (If hit with anything that produces fire like a napalm or rain attack) will send a ring of fire across the surface, but will not continue past the green. So take the portal to a ring just above the green surface. You will find lots of pickups and a full health pickup if you turbo off the side and jump (up, up, left). The other secret is something that was suggested by another submitter. The ramp I told you to turn right of, you must take to reach the next secret. Follow the course of ramps (It doesn"t matter which order) until you get to a portal. The portal will take you on top of the pillar-like structure in the center of Amazonia 300 B.C.There is lightning and other pickups to grab.

Junkyard: when you pick somebody up with the crane drop them it the metal bars when they are inside the bars catch them then their health will keep going down until they die!
Neon city: This isn"t a cheat but I know how to reach the balcony, alls you got to do is ramp to the room where the health is then turn to a wall with cracks in it, and keep shooting it untill it breaks there should be a floating green thing that looks like that craft flying above the city go inside it and wait then that craft will pick you up and take you to the balcony. Or you can try it the hard way and jump up to the balcony I"ve done that before.
Amazona B.C.: well I"ve found a really secret underground tunnel well fall down the cracks, where the ground looks like ice. I can"t tell the exact direction to the path but look for cracks down there then blow the wall up or slam into the wall and if you found it you should see through the wall like x-ray vision if you don"t want to die I"d use invincibility

Construction Yard - Destroy door on the crane in the middle of the map. You can control the crane by getting inside and then pressing the X button when a car moves inside the target area. Make sure to drop them in the fire area.
When you come to the area where there are 3 rooftop ramps, choose the very left one and it will take you to a conveyor belt with full health on it. After going to the other side of the belt, there is an object on the ground that can be blown up, revealing a secret basement.
Neon City - There is a balcony with full health on it, but I can"t find out how to get there yet. All I know is that you can see it if you go on the train tracks.
Neon City Secret - Follow the train tracks up to the 2nd level. On the side that the teleport is on there is a little ramp you take to break the glass for some health and a couple of weapon pickups. In that little room shoot the wall pannel that is cracked. Once it blows up there will be a green "Train Icon" Sit on the icon until you get picked up by the hoovering train. It will take you to the secret balcony which has a full health and some good weapon pickups. Road Rage - Look for signs that say East Erie. Follow their pathways until you come to an area where you see a blue glass building that is behind the concrete road side. You can blast through this to find a full health, and good weapon pickups.
Bedroom - Break the lamp to get lightning, and then make sure that everyone is in middle before you use it. There are several gasoline bottles that can be destroyed, revealing secret passageways to full health and good weapon pickups.
Amazonia B.C.- Basically try to go from ramp to ramp until you reach a portal that will take you to the top of the ring area. At the top there is full health, lightning, and other stuff.
Oil Rig - You can destroy the helicopter with an auto lob, or other elevated missle, but I wouldn"t suggest doing that. The helicopter drops off a half-health every couple minutes on the pad, but if you destroy it, you only get power missles and a couple other weaker pickups.
Minions Maze - Everything in this level is at the very top, and the underground basement. Both are in the middle.
Carnival - To get inside the ghost house, use something to blast the floor in front of the door with. There is also an initialed stone at the bottom near the roller coaster with a breakaway floor that takes you through a narrow passageway filled with gravestones. The full health is on the roller coaster, and to get the lightning, turbo off the coaster onto the big top tent. The best way to kill Sweet Tooth on this level, is to get the proximity mine pickups, and force him to follow you through the ghost house and onto the roller coaster. Don"t try to face him close up, because his special will tear you up.
I was kind of disappointed that there were no new innovative ideas like the crane after the first level, unless I just missed something. Please list any level secrets you have found.

In Road Rage when you see the tunnel that has the arrows on it and slopes down shoot the wall the the left of it and it will have a small road and a few weapons like lightening.
In Amazonia B.C. there is a secret room to the left of the thing that shoots you up on the land. It is on the lower part on the side that has the little lands that you use to get to the portal.

Twisted Metal IV is the #1 Twisted Metal game it brings in the main story of the twisted metal tournament where Sweet Tooth takes over Calypso as the new Empire this is also the only game where you can play as Calypso now heres the main story Calypso was a normal man with a poor life when he found a mysterius ring a ring with a power a dark power which allowed him too steal the souls of the dead and Maximize his power so he created a tournament called Twisted Metal where contestents battled though stages in vehicals of their choice certain levels have a boss you must beat too advance if you win your prize of a single wish anything you can desire if you lose you lose your soul now in one of these tournaments a boy named Needles Kane joined as Sweet Tooth and became a evil clown and drove a ice cream truck when he won he asked too become the star of twisted metal and so he did until he overpowered Calypso and stole the ring of souls and now Calypso has too win his own tournament too re claim his throne as the Twisted Metal Empire.

Crusher: simple just kill him like anyone else just watch out for the front end
Moon Buggy: mortars get a bunch of those and ram him head on and fire it takes out big chunks and use sheild up up right on his special
Super Thumper: kill him how ever you want just stay from the front

Super Axel: use the moon buggy and rc car skills
Minion: stay near those teleports and kill him quick if your about too die teleport until your with him again hit him quick and teleport away keep doing that
Sweet Tooth: gather as many weapons as you can and then kill him and if he hits you with his special use sheild up up right then hit him again repeat this and hes dead.

Easy Kill On Road Rage
First get three proximity mines. Then take the teleporter that takes you to a higher part of the level near the ramp, with a fence on one side, then exactly where you land place three proximity mines. If they take the teleporter, they will usually fly over the fence and into instant death.
Infinite Lightning
Make sure that infinite special is not on or it won"t work. On any level that has a lightning you can do it. Get a lightning, then shoot all your other weapon until you just have a lightning. After you shoot it, use rear attack over and over(right,left,down,down) and you can keep hit the lightning again and again (with this trick you can have three lightning shot out at one time)until a special comes back.
Secret Rooms
In many levels there are spots that look cracked. If you shoot them enough then they break and reveal secret rooms. In the construction site there are two, in the highway ther is one, in the maze there is a gate on the second floor that is destructible, in the bedroom you can destroy the gas boxes, at the carnival there is a secret ghost room that you can get into in two places. If you find the thing that looks like a haunted house you have to shoot it alot and the ground will fall in, the other place looks like a big wooden box if you shoot it then the ground will fall in too. In Neon city if you go to the top of the train rails then there will be a ramp over on the side if you get in the room and you see a wall that looks cracked you must shoot it alot then it will break and it will reveal a platform and if you get on it it will take you to the secret platform that has lightning and other good stuff. At the oil rig if you can get to the helicopter platform and have an autolob you can blow it up and get good stuff.
Carrier Craft In Neon City
To get to the Carrier craft in Neon City, you need at least 30 Turbo points. Take the railroad line(subway line whatever) and go to the top. Go across to the ramp. Be sure to already have knocked out the glass by shooting it and use your turbo off the ramp to get into the area. Pikc up The Health and the Green A. Then, turn to the LEFT wall and shoot it (Preferably use Fire missile, or Power Missile). This will then open a little area with a Green circle and a pic of the Carrier Craft on it. Go up to it, and wait. The craft will come around, grab you, and take you to another place and you have to shoot the glass again. in the first little room(big actually) you can get 2 Power Missiles and then turn and fire any weapon at the glass towards the front. I think the weapons are Homing Missile, Lightning, and Rain Missile. If you look, you should see a green arrow. Go onto it and it will shoot you to the otherside while grabbing a Full Health, and a Freeze Bomb.
Defeating Sweet Tooth
Collect as many Freeze Bombs and Remote Bombs as possible, then get on the tent. Set a Remote Bomb and a Freeze Bomb down and wait until Sweet Tooth gets on the tent. Freeze him, blow him up with remote bomb, then hit him with your special. If you get caught in his special in the process, just press Up, Up, Down, Down and you will usually break out of it. or Press Up(2), Right to use the shield when the special attack hits you, then quickly run and attack Sweettooth with your best special. It is easier if you use Minion and Sweet Tooth to defeat him. or Try using remote weapons by Freeze first, then Bomb. When caught in his special, put on your Shield or Hyperspace. His special will not find you if you are invisible. or Utilize far away attacks, and stay near to places where you can get to health. If he hits you with his special, press Up(2), Down(2) to teleport. Also, utilize freezing.
Secret Room In Construction Yard
Master The Crane At Construction Level
When you go through one of the portals it brings you to a platform. Go straight blow up the wall or go through the glass to get inside. You are in the crane. When you see a car while you are in the crane press X when the car is inside of the green circle. Then you can bring the car to 2 places. The best place to bring the car is the unfinished building with the fire in it. When the car is over it, press X to release it and it will fall into it get hit by the fire and have damage. This is very effective and a guarantee you will win the match. In a 1 player tournament match you cannot use the crane when you fight the boss.
3D Levels
To unlock the 3d levels you first have to have a tournament game saved. Then you play the saved game but do not die. Quit the game then at the level select go to the end you will see a couple of 3d levels pick any one you like. These 3d levels play only on deathmatch mode.
Bonus Audio
Play track two and higher of the game disc in an audio CD player to hear music by Rob Zombie, Cirrus, Cypress Hill, Skold, Goulspoon, One Minute Silence, and various voiceovers.
Play Your Own Music
Start a game in tournament or deathmatch mode. Pause the game, open the PlayStation lid, and replace the game disc with an audio CD. When the game resumes, the music from the CD will begin playing. Note: Do not replace the game disc with another PlayStation game.
Bonus Deathmatch Levels
Successfully complete any tournament mode level, then save the game to unlock a deathmatch mode level. Each completed tournament level will unlock a new deathmatch level.
Play As Bosses
Successfully complete the game once with any character. After Sweet Tooth is defeated, save the game and watch your character"s ending sequence. Then all of the Bosses, including Crusher, Moon Buggy, Super Thumper, RC Car, Super Axel, Super Slamm, Super Auger, Minion, and Sweet Tooth will be unlocked.

After you see the wish, start a deathmatch and all the new levels will be unlocked.
